Qoraal keeps your notes and your to-do list in one quiet place — and lets you use it from WhatsApp, in Somali or English, without installing anything.

What it is. Qoraal is a notes and task app built for people who live on their phone and on WhatsApp. You can use the app if you want to, but you do not have to: a message to Qoraal's WhatsApp number saves a note, adds a task, sets a reminder or marks something done.

What you can do

• Write notes — plain text, checklists, photos and files, with labels, colours, an archive and a bin.
• Keep a to-do list — due dates, times, reminders, repeating tasks, steps and attachments.
• Share a group with your team — a shared list of tasks you can hand to named people.
• Use it from WhatsApp — send notes, photos, files or voice; add tasks; get reminders on the number you already carry.
• Ask it things — an assistant that reads your own notes and tasks and answers in your language.
• Work in Somali or English — the whole interface, not a machine translation of it.

Who it is for

Small businesses, shops and teams in Somalia and the diaspora, and anyone who would rather send a WhatsApp message than open another app. It is built to work on a cheap phone with poor data, because that is what most people actually have.

Why WhatsApp

Most productivity apps assume everyone will install them and open them every day. That is not true for a delivery driver or a shop assistant. WhatsApp is already on the phone and already open, so Qoraal meets people there: a reminder arrives as a message, and replying to it is enough to finish the job.
