I am a polyglot, data-driven, AI-native growth marketer, content creator, designer, and software builder and a mentor. Currently, I lead the Dept. of Content and Partnerships at Nasiye, Somalia's largest streaming platform.
Previously, I held the digital media office, where I led very talented female-majority teams of content creators, editors, designers, and social media specialists across the company’s largest office, while also setting strategies and campaigns, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture where creativity flourishes.
I also provide exec assistance to entrepreneurs, executives, and founders helping them with their personal brands, providing strategies, designs, short videos, and blogs to help them build a strong online presence and stay productive.

- Mastering industry-standard creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Canva, Figma, among others)

- Succeeding on online freelance platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn to secure opportunities
- Building strong personal brands that attract potential employers and clients
- Preparing for interviews and making results-driven, winning CVs.

- Maintained ongoing communication with instructors to facilitate a smooth course delivery by providing them all the resources and technical supports that they need.
- Designed and produced courses on various design and productivity tools, Google Workspace (the first Somali courses on this) and Canva.
- Instructional design, course editing, curriculum development, and technical support for instructors.
- Created marketing materials, including short promo videos, scriptwriting, designing, and voiceovers.
- Directed and edited videos, collaborating with videographers to produce compelling educational content.
